Kate Tuttle, BSc

Research Assistant/Technician

Kate completed a BSc in Biochemistry at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, US in 2019. During her time there, she spent a year working at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute on the development, validation, and optimization of a novel method of probe synthesis for use in transcript enrichment experiments. After graduation, Kate joined Dana-Farber’s Molecular Biology Core Facilities, gaining extensive experience in nucleic acid analysis and sequencing. Recently, she moved to the University of British Columbia to focus on protein analysis using cryo-electron microscopy. Kate is also an artist, specializing in both wet and dry media as well as digital art.
