Research Associate
Gethin Owen is a biochemist with expertise in EM. After completing his PhD at the AO Research institute Davos, Switzerland he received postdoctoral training at NYSBC New York, USA and the Faculty for Dentistry UBC, Canada, using both SEM & TEM state of the art imaging methods to investigate the role of cell adhesion proteins in wound healing & disease as well as understanding the relationship between tissue structure and function. Over the past 8 years Gethin has specialized in FIB/SEM and hopes to apply this expertise to characterize the critical mechanism of T cell differentiation in the Thymus.
